Pastor Don Haven has served as a congregational pastor and as a capital giving campaign consultant - leading congregations and agencies through journeys of spiritual growth, financial health, and mission expansion. Don has directed over 40 capital campaigns, feasibility studies and visioning processes and has helped raise over $70 million for congregations and agencies. He has led these successful efforts by inspiring generosity, leading and training leadership teams and building ownership and support in faith communities for support of their vision, mission, and ministry goals.
He has served as the Lead Pastor and Pastor Developer of congregations in California, Oregon, and Texas; as the Vice President for Development and Consultant for Kairos Associates; as the Western States Major Gift Director for Lutheran World Relief; and as a member of the Steering Committee for the ELCA “Always Being Made New” Campaign; and as the Founder and President of Abundant Congregations.
Cindy Carroll has served as a parish pastor and worked in fundraising, marketing, and public relations. Her experience includes: Vice President of Development, Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and Development Director, Skagit Valley College. She served as Director for Communication in Northwest Region of the ELCA and in public relations for a national non-profit insurance organization.
Cindy completed the training for the Executive Certificate in Religious Fundraising and served on the Steering Committee for the ELCA Always Being Made New Campaign. She has experience in assisting congregations and non-profits to communicate their vision for mission as well as to make it become real and tangible by helping generate the generosity needed to move forward with their dreams.
